holy shit I can't believe it's been 2 months since I last checked in. Time flies when you're scratching your butt and doing nothing.

Oh, I did take a trip back to Hong Kong for 2 weeks and that was a whole lot of fun. It's always good to see my old buddies and shoot the shit again. Although it struck me that nobody ever changes. I think even in 10 years I will still see my friends as the group of 6 year old kids I went to grade school with. Funny that way. But it's also very reassuring in a way.

Time to scratch my butt some more. I'm on a very tight schedule. ~later

Monday morning...woohoo.

Finally had a relaxing weekend at h-o-m-e. Don't get me wrong, I love traveling and seeing my friends and family, but I have been doing that for a month straight and it's just nice to finally sleep in on Saturday morning and watch some cartoons.

My tooth is hurting less (praise be to somebody) but I scheduled a consult with an oral surgeon anyways on Thursday.

Went to a tapas restaurant with a few friends called Barcelona last night. It's owned by the same guy whose new restaurant's menus I'm designing as a free-lance project. Food was really great and the waitresses were easy on the eyes; the decor was a mixture of reds, yellows, turquoise and has a definite spanish flair to it. But I'm still searching for a Korean restaurant which makes good Kal-Bi-Tang. I miss that shit already.

St. Louis, MO

Got back last night from my trip to NYC. Had so much fun that I'm actually considering applying to school there even though I hate crowds and big cities. That's how much I enjoyed Jon, Wilbs and Annie's company. Or maybe it was the incredibly exquisite food that did it for me. Hmmm.....nah, must be my friends.

TIme to call the doc. My wisdom (why do we call it that?) teeth have decided to come out to cause me immense pain. You'd figure with almost 2 million years of evolution, our (homo-sapien) mouth-jaw thing would make enough room to accommodate 4 ridiculously retarded and tardy teeth.

Where the !@$? is the Tylenol?

Queens, New York City.
Why is Jon doing the dishes again? I don't know. Perhaps this is his way of showing appreciation to Wilbs for letting us crash at his place, or maybe he just loves the feel of the soapy goodness on the sponge against his skin. Who knows?
Well, I'm leaving tomorrow for home and I do have to say I feel a tinge of sadness. Partly because I will miss my friends, but mostly because I haven't fulfilled my civic duty to take a dump large enough to clog Wilbur's toilet.
Tomorrow will be another day.
